Ryan Hurd + Friends
The Lake Allegan Association is proud to present: Ryan Hurd + Friends! After a sold-out show in 2023, Ryan Hurd returns to the historic Griswold Auditorium on Saturday, July 25 for an unforgettable night of Nashville entertainment benefitting the Lake Allegan Association. This is a can’t-miss community event with songs from some of country music’s biggest storytellers. Ryan Hurd + Friends will feature additional Nashville singer-songwriters to be announced at a later date.
Hurd’s recent album, Midwest Rock and Roll, honors his Kalamazoo, Michigan, upbringing and beloved memories up north. A gifted singer-songwriter, Hurd has over 330 million streams and six No. 1 songs on country radio as a songwriter for Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Lady A and more.
Funds raised through ticket sales and purchases at Ryan Hurd + Friends will help the Lake Allegan Association's continued work to protect and preserve Lake Allegan, more specifically in areas including legal expenses, communications, consultants, operations and development. Learn more about the event and efforts to save Lake Allegan at LakeAllegan.org. Special thanks to The City of Allegan for their support and partnership.
Tickets will be on-sale Friday, May 1 @ 10 a.m. EST

2026 Anne Frank Project
Join us for a powerful and meaningful evening that brings film, reflection, and human connection together in a truly unique way.
An Evening of Extraordinary Outcomes invites you to listen deeply, remember courageously, and converse compassionately as we explore stories of choice, resilience, and shared humanity. The evening will feature a screening of The Ice Cream Man, a short film based on the true story of Ernst Cahn, whose courageous resistance during the Holocaust reminds us of the impact one individual can have.
Following the film, guests will take part in a guided conversation designed to encourage thoughtful dialogue and reflection around courage, justice, and the power of individual choices. The evening will conclude with a dessert bar and an intimate, youth docent-led viewing of the Anne Frank exhibit - offering space to connect the film’s themes with history and our lives today.
This special event is more than a night out, it is an opportunity to come together as a community, engage in meaningful conversation, and help create a lasting legacy that will impact students and families across Allegan County for years to come.
We hope you’ll join us for this unforgettable experience.

Alastair Watt - Small Town City Boy: A Pure Michigan Stand-Up Comedy Tour at The Griswold Auditorium!
Join comedian and master storyteller Alastair Watt and friends for a night of big laughs in a small-town gem. Raised on a steady diet of slap bracelets, smoking inside, and VHS tapes, Watt brings the hilarity of the '90s into the modern world, navigating the chaos of new parenthood, losing parents, and life’s gloriously awkward moments with uncomfortable honesty and punchlines that hit harder than a toddler’s tantrum.
With a unique ability to blend mania, nostalgia, and charm, Alastair turns everyday experiences into side-splitting tales anyone can relate to.
Alastair has been seen and featured at The Second City, I.O. Chicago, The Annoyance, The Laugh Factory, and multiple comedy festivals. TV credits include appearances on Chicago P.D., Chicago Med., Chicago Fire, and even The Weather Channel.
Small Town City Boy: A Pure Michigan Stand-Up Comedy Tour also features Katrina McEntee, with special guest Brittany Devon.
